For the last 2 months Mr. Struck and I have been surviving on holiday food, take out and a few pity meals slipped into my fridge by my Grans while we were at work.

Granted we fit a decent amount of health food in there, sushi, turkey burgers, veggie subs but not nearly enough.

So tonight I put my foot down (which really hurt considering it's in a cast) and we went grocery shopping. Now my fridge and cabinets are full of healthy, wholesome foods! Fresh fruits and veggies, chicken breast, whole grain breads, grey sole, low fat deli meats and a wide variety of cheeses.

All is now right with the world.

Guess what Mr Struck had for dinner tonight? A bowl of Crunch Berries. lmao

what's wrong with your foot?

Broken ankle. There's a thread about it in the mines somewhere. lol Long story.

I agree Wiggles. Cooking on grocery night is like cooking the day after Thanksgiving. It's simply not done.

Shadup and eat your CoCo Puffs.

The only good thing that came from my trip to the grocery store yesterday was when this cutie smiled at me over the steaks...

Nothing like redmeat and grocery-store flirtation.

Ya know, since then I've been *totally* stuck on grocery stores. Isn't that silly?

Actually, they're coco-rageous. Store brand cocopuffs. They're delish, and they make the milk in my bowl all chocolatey!

I am almost afraid to ask...

What, pray tell, is 'grey sole'? (Already bad sushi?) It sure doesn't sound healthy to me. Or did you make a boo boo and put that in the cabinet instead of the fridge? :)

And I am so glad you're feeling better.

They make your teeth black and are full of sugar and chemicals. Eat oatmeal. Your body will thank you for it.

It's a flat fish. Sole is like flouder but tastier. Grey sole is a type of sole. Very flaky and thin and yummy.
