I got a porcelian figurine, and an A-Teens CD. The answer was 50/50. (Yes, I actually asked for the A-Teens CD. )

Got my other Dad a gift certificate to Home Depot and one to his favorite restaraunt. The restaraunt one is because he wants to rewire the kitchen and I am betting it takes much longer, doesn't it always, then he planned.
My Dadinlaw gets a framed picture of him and his Grandson working in the garden.

I say DAY Merelan because being a Mother and seeing my son change on a daily basis, I know that in a week's time Bluenoses son will come out with something else that will make that day, then a week after that something else.

Kid's, and especially 5 year olds (mine is five too) say the most wonderful things, and each and everyday they seem to come out with at least one thing that makes THAT day a special one.
