Okay so tomight dinner was a bit different. I looked in the fridge and thought about what I had in there and decided to make Cat's Style Cordon Bleau.
Cat's Cordon Bleau you ask?
Slice some Pork Loin nice and thin. 1/4 inch or thinner. (It cuts easier when it's still partially frozen.)
Cook up some Bacon, cook it soft and limp.
Crack half a dozen eggs into a bowl and beat them with some Garlic Powder.
Dig out some Provolone Cheese.
Start a pot of Elbow Macaroni.
Pour some seasoned Bread Crumbs onto a plate. Don't be thrifty, put in a lot.
Okay, lay out a slice of the Pork. Put on it a slice of the cheese, then a layer of bacon and another slice of cheese. Put another slice of Pork on it and peg it with toothpicks. Do this until you have used all of the pork. (You can snack on any leftover bacon as you're cooking.)
Dip the sandwiches of Pork, Bacon and Cheese in the eggs then in the Breadcrumbs. Toss into a nice hot Frypan with melted butter and cook over low heat, turning occasionally until they are done. (Add crumbled Bacon and some Garlic Powder to the eggs when you are done dipping the meat sandwiches.)
Keep stirring that macaroni so it doesn't burn and when it's done drain and rinse.
When the Sandwiches are done place them to the side on a plate.
Pour the by now well drained macaroni to the frypan. Add Egg mix and fry the mess until the eggs have hardened around the noodles.
Serve.
Sit back and enjoy even as you listen to the cholesterol hardening your arteries.
