There's a bunch of us who have been working on a collaborative story for months. The chapters are all posted individually, at weekly intervals (at least that's supposed to be how it goes), but the stories are all about one woman, Erica - on our Literotica front door. Recently, we've had a an unlucky break in the posting, however, with one person not submitting a story when it was due, then a story being submitted, and another one being dropped.

I'm just trying to steal a few new readers for our efforts from the GB, is all. There's got to be some of you here who like well-written, well-plotted erotica - not just stroke stories.

Here's your chance. You can just read the current Chapter submission or you can go all the way back to the beginning, to KillerMuffin's incomparable first Chapter, and read from there. Or, i suppose, you can pick and choose from among the Chapters. They're all well-written stories. (VERY immodest of me to say since i wrote one of them. )

Here's my take on the current offering:
Memoirs of a Lady - A Past Life

Sardonic at the beginning, Lyssa's chapter in Erica's ongoing saga, slips from dry sarcasm steadily into that which can only be described as incredibly emotional trauma-induced memories.

This is a very mature, professional, and distinctively original story by one of Lit's very best writers. Go read it.

If you're interested in reading "Memoirs of a Lady" from the beginning, all the chapters, the entire collaborative effort can be found here: http://www.literotica.com/stories/stories_by_category.php?category=28

Cymbidia, there is nothing wrong with a little self promotion now and then.

Thanks for the link and I will check it out.

I will admit I havn't been reading a lot of the stories lately, been spending to much time posting here. Time to push the keyboard back for a little while.

Darlin, your links are bad.

Try again.

I fixed them, Muff - and *thanks* for catching it. (Now i gotta go fix them on the other two Boards...)

The BB was doing some weird stuff while i was trying to post my original msg.
And, well, i've got a bad track record for posting dead/bad links anyway. ~glumly~ It's some kinda curse, i tell you.

cymbidia--thanks for bringing the story to our attention--I've read yours and enjoyed them tremendously--now I have something new to look forward to.....and I like your new icon thingy too ~smiles~

Thanks Pam; it's kind of you to read my stories and i'm glad you liked them.

The av, oh yes. I have three new ones, all made by the tremendously talented Guru. I'll be swapping all four of them around as the mood strikes. A girl likes to have more than one outfit from which to choose, doesn't she?

I do read the stories here and have been following the trials and tribulations of the fair Erica with each succeeding chapter in the series. The whole chain concept is intriguing. Each of the authors has their own particular style, yet it all ends up so wonderfully intertwined and seamless, that I swear there is but one voice. And that voice belongs to Erica!

I am so impressed with the way you have all managed to link even the tiniest details together in such different stories. This makes the reader (well, at least this one) feel a sense of continuity. And even though the subject matter has run the spectrum from romance, erotic coupling, BDSM to interracial sexuality, it seems plausible in the context of her life.

These chapters are so much more than 'just sex'. The authors have given everyone a story complete with plot, characters, witty dialogue, mystery etc.

Thanks for letting the general board know about this. On a final note, I want to say that after reading this serial, I am now planning on exploring other works by these authors!

DA (very cool av, btw), i *know* you're a reader and i appreciate the time and focus you put into reading that which so many of us work hard to produce. Well, okay, sometimes it comes slipping out pretty easily, and, well, it's sorta fun to write about sexual stuff and, you know, we'd all be writing something anyway - but none of that detracts from the fact that it's wonderful to have people like you read our stuff and appreciate it. Thanks, from all of us.

Barb - wow. Just wow. You're a dream reader. You write exceedingly well, too. ~sidelong glance~ When are you going to submit something hot and wet, something that's the stuff of twisted-sheet sweaty dreams? If you write as well as you post, i hope you're not going to be writing in my category!

Been there, read it, wondered what the fuck was going on, so I wandered over to Muff's "bump in the road."

Please, go read a story or a poem by one of us - one of the people you interact with here on a daily basis. Most of us who have stories/poetry posted here, have it linked to our little blue www, too, thus making it exceedingly simple for you to go read and come right back. Easy, quick, smooth and oh-so satisfying a trip.

Vote.
And send us feedback, too.

One a day.
One story or one poem a day.
That's all we ask.

Don't you love her so?

It's you and me, Never darlin', singlehandedly keeping this great lumbering box of a storybook afloat in the seas of essential indifference. Ah! What a metaphor for man's apathetic inhumanity to man.

Well, no, you're the only one that really cares; I haven't even read the story.
However, since you do seem to care about it I post to keep you happy.

I just thought of something....

Nearly everyone here showed up after reading the stories....

Now most regulars don't read the stories anymore....

So does everyone do to get turned on?
