I just won the Oscar for Best Picture

They focused all their effort into attacking Trump instead of making sure trophies went to the right people at their awards ceremony.

They are so funny. Complete incompetent assholes. You know, they represent everything the SJW hates. They are the top of the top in income, yet they produce almost nothing of value. Biggest hypocrites!

I'm so happy about this clusterfuck. I think it's all that botox. How hard could it possibly be to give some jerk the right envelope? Maybe if they wouldn't nominate 20 movies.
They do this on purpose, you know.
They saw how much mileage that guy got for naming the wrong winner at the beauty contest and decided to keep it up.

It was private industry which screwed up. PriceWaterhouseCoopers couldn't handle two envelopes.

This private industry has a long track record of no fuck ups...

Some blame goes to the two liberal actors who read Emma Stone's name on the wrong card, thought about it long and hard, gazing into each other's eyes wondering what to do and then they read the wrong card anyway instead of seeking verification.

I've been watching the clips of it as it happened, and then the Beatty confession at the end of the show.

The real tragedy of the night was the extreme politicization of the event which is sure to continue to drive down viewership. It's Sunday night, it's an awards show, people want to be entertained, not lectured by people with true hate in their heart for the unwashed masses that they want to sell their product to...

I wonder what will last longer: the length of the Oscars ceremony last night or the howling of the shit-gibbons here about the Oscars today.

If it is AJ's off-day from his truck unloading job, all bets are off.

There's no other industry on Earth that spends so much time and money patting itself on the back.

Yup, its up there with Politics.(i'm saying politics is an industry as alot of graduates go straight into politics with little or no real world experience). The main role they strive for is recognition too.

Having been in the entertainment industry in a peripheral role, I'm sure it's no surprise that "Celebrities" are almost universally despicable. I laugh at fans who watch a couple of movies and decide "so and so" is a "good person". Bull. Oprah, Clooney, whoever. They look at you as unwashed masses. Also, if you got to know them, you wouldn't want to spend more than two minutes with them anyway. Their so called philanthropy and activism is a pittance designed to make them look good and to fill in their abundant free time. I love when they look like the idiots they truly are.

They're more interested in politicizing the program than they are with the integrity of their award process. Just saw the entire fuck up on the news.

I do note they tend to honor the movies they wished we would watch while pissing on the ones we do watch...

;) ;)

We'll see how it goes when they're all working for yuan, Chairman Rob. :)

I think they think longer-term than does Hollywood in its present incarnation...

I think they see the Hollywood entertainment industry as an enormous opportunity to influence American thinking and a promising vehicle for rebranding old line Communism. Let's face it, much of our youth are ready to fall for their siren song.

I think they just see it as an investment opportunity because they can make better movies...

And if you compare what Hollywood keeps shoving down our throats as to what the Chinese film industry offers us, I think they can too.

What was the last Chinese movie you watched?

I can't watch award shows because the speeches drive me crazy. Even before the anti-Trumpers. I usually just find out the next morning.
