This thread reminds me of being a band geek and wondering why high school sports didn't catered to me. The forums are the least most important part of the site, no one gives a shit about you and that's why your needs aren't addressed in the app. It really is that simple.

I have an android phone and I've not had a problem with either and I use the default android browser. Perhaps it's different with different brands of phone.

Not all android OPs are the same. Each, for the most part, is personalized to the individual manufacturer's specification. The browser may not work as well on some phones as it does on others. The better the processor the more like a regular computer it operates.
