cuba is 90 miles from florida. if you're standing on the east coast of florida looking out to sea the waves are coming toward you, breaking on the shore. if you're on the west coast of florida looking out to sea the waves are coming toward you.

at what point in the ocean do they change directions?

not true.....it's just that when you have a thought like this you have to explore it...inquiring minds want to know.

we are sorry, you have reached an imaginary number. please rotate your phone ninety degrees and try again.

At what point does the ocean not come toward you?

In Hawaii on any shore the waves come to you. So where does it change directions there?

oh shit, the plot thickens...i drove all the way around kuaii (spelling) and you're right, they were...ok, who's in control of this shit...i want some answers....and pass that pipe again, would ya...

Waves will always go towards land no matter where you are. I don't know exactly why but maybe it has something to do with the gravity that land possesses ( Yes land itself has gravity, and so do humans ). And it may also have something to do with displacement. Like the only place water has to go to expand its area is towards land.
