I just got my nose Pierced...AGAIN

So, I have had the old shnoz peirced for a few months now and I wanted to change from the 14gauge hoop I had it peirced with to a 20 gauge one..It just suits my nose a lil better, so I bought one and I just couldnt get the hang of putting the lil ball thingy in. (ok call me stupid)

So I figure Ill stop by the local peircing tattoo shop and see if he will pop one in for me, I know I will pay more but then I wont have to fuss with the little thing...long story short he basicly re peirced my nose...couldnt get a hoop in and I ended up with a stud. He would not listen to me and I felt trapped in the chair....

Moral of the story...this guy is an ass and I wouldnt let him peirce my corpse!!!!!

Oh gawd.. I'm sorry to hear it Kitte I hate that feeling of being trapped.. they think they know what they're doing and get insulted if you question them.

I was going to get my nose pierced about 6 months ago. I went with a friend who basically said, "Oh hell yeah, let's get pierced!" After watching her get her tongue, and both nipples pierced I decided I didn't want my nose done after all.

Moral of the story: If you plan on getting a piercing, don't watch someone else being stabbed through the nipple with a stake first.

I loved getting my nose done...call me a sadist...to a degree...I enjoyed the pain knowing I would have something wonderful that I really wanted to show for it and really it wasnt that bad....what this guy did was truly mutilation and he kept saying there was something wrong with my peircing. Now mind you I got it done by one of the top peircers in Boston, he did an ecellent job. I am just in a shitty mood and he made it even shittier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr.

It doesnt look bad, it was just that it didnt need to be re peirced and honestly Im just going to let it heal up and go get a hoop put in by the guy who first peirced it...I know Im a moron I just cant do those little ball things!

At least you can wear a hoop.. the guy who pierced mine, did it slightly too high, so I would need a rather large hoop. That would look ridiculous, but that's okay cuz I like my stud better.

I bought an awesome stud.. the post is the same size and length of an earring post.. with teeny little balls on both ends to keep it in place. Most people don't realize I have my nose pierced, unless they're looking really close, or the light hit's it or something.

I love it.

I think the hoop is too big in this one..that is why I chose a smaller one but...bah!


Lickerish, it is the first of what I hope to be many. I am planning my tongue next and then maybe my nipples. I had some questions about that...I have one inverted nipple and I didnt know about piercing it..I have also thought about a hood peircing but not so much...

sorry to hear hun , should of shopped around before deciding on a piercing studio. i did and i have no complaints over where IA and myself go,

I know Im a moron I just cant do those little ball things!

I had my nose done for quite sometime and I wore a hoop in it. Go to your local piercing store (you may have to check a few) and see if they have the hoops that don't have the ball. I had one that just kind of twisted closed, I don't know how to explain it but it was much better and I think it looks nicer.

If you can't find any then just let me know if you're really interested, I could get one for you and mail it with no problem. They are pretty thin and have just about any color you could want.

I know diddly squat about piercing, but I have always wanted to have my nose pierced, so in the next two weeks (when I have money) I am going to get it done.

I am on a quest to reinvent my look. I am working on completely changing the way I look since I have never been happy with it and want a new style that compliments my personality more. I have dark dark brown hair, so I might go honey blond or auburn red, and I already bought a 6 outfit new wardrobe (I worked major overtime)
My next steps, after the piercing and hair, will be to change my make up style, and possibly a breast reduction, but that will have to wait a year so I can try to lose some weight to help the reducing on its own.

I am a size 18 and I would like to be a 12. I might need some moral support, so I will be grateful for any I can get.

I've wanted to pierce my nose for awhile, but after all the trouble I've been having with my upper carts not healing well, I dunno if I wanna take the chance.

If I did, though, I'd want a very small stud for it. I like nose hoops on other people, but I don't know if it would be right for me.

The ring looks pretty cool on you Kitte, but I love Licky's tiny ball/stud thing.

I'm not exactly experienced with piercing, but it seems to need similar research as a tattoo. Spend some time in the piercers's place of work, observe the quality of their work, the way they work with their clients, and their sanitary practices. Ask questions and don't be afraid to just walk out, it's your body.
