As for me, I have Dr. blue. So, did you get what you really wanted? And, what is it?

Merry Christmas, y'all.

I have watched my grandson open half of his presents so far..he's getting ready to go to his dad's...Have to say my grandson is one of the best presents life has given me.

First let me echo Ambrosious on the email. Thank you very much. Merry Christmas.

As for your question, I knew I wasn't going to get what I wanted for Christmas this year, but I'm optimistic about Christmas 2001.

Ditto on the email, Blue! And yes, I got what I wanted. I didn't mess up- every niece and nephew got something that they wanted so bad they just wouldn't put it down last night. Some years I get it right, and some years I'm off a bit. This year I hit a home run!

<big hugs my darling Blue>
Merry Merry Christmas to you baby ...

I keep looking out the window for you .... hoping for that Christmas miracle .... :)

I have learned that the intangibles...

are the real important gifts. Love, friendships, good health and family. That's where its at on holidays and the rest of the year.

I know that tangible things like cash and good looks and "stuff" seem real important but the intangibles are really where its at. You'll see.

p.s. It never hurts to have a few bucks, too.

Yes and No.

I was happy enough with what I recieved but, the true happiness came from my son ... sitting and seeing his little face light up was a gift in it's self.

I didn't however spend it with the man I love :( Oh well next year.

Blue I hope yours was good. Did you see your Brother? If so how is he?

Yes...Santa brought me the BEST present. I got to watch the joy, amazement, wonderment, excitement of my children as they discovered Santa had come and there were presents out under the tree and in the stockings!

I cannot imagine why he missed your house, SK?? Lord knows what a "good" girl you are!

I got something I'd asked for, some things I didn't but liked very much, and an unexpected treasure -- a good book. I was very rude. I got into that book and stayed there most of the day.

There were family tensions and some sharp exchanges, as usual, but they were minimal. Seriously, it was our usual claustrophobic holiday.

I'm very much looking forward to next year!

Overall pretty good Christmas here at our household...Kids got what they wanted and they haven't stopped since christmas eve.. last night found my little boy, in bed asleep with one of his trucks and 3 books that he got.. cute sight to see.
