Sir hates valintines day. with a passion. so we chose not to celebrate it.

Master isn't much of one for Valentines day either, though He does normally send me a card *smiles* but He says He doesn't need a day to remind me He's thinking of me or that He loves me...*shrugs* i'm not picky on Valentines day, it's not ever been a really big thing for me....

last year i got nothing for valentines day with no explination. no card. no e-mail. not even a mention on the phone. two weeks later i got a box of dark chocolate truffles in the mail with a note saying "i love you every day, not just febuary 14th. it was very sweet, and forgave him for the lack of valentines day.

but for two weeks i was furious that he "forgot" me on valentines day. i didnt realize that he just despised it as a holiday. our reschedule was planned ahead of time as to avoid more hurt feelings over "forgotten" love holidays.

This will be our first Valentine's Day together so I have no idea what we will do. He is not the type to go all out on holidays though, so I am not expecting roses and chocolates. He would be more likely to surprise me by doing something like cutting my grass and planting the shrubs I want than anything else. I doubt we will go out to dinner, he loves to cook.

I will probably make him a batch of his favorite cookies. I want to do more but I don't know what yet.

I bought a gigantic (like 4') velour rose at the drugstore on a whim, and my roommate suggested that she take some nude pics of me with it and give them to my bf. I'm still thinking on that.

Otherwise... probably nothing? I don't know yet. Maybe I should bring it up subtly.

Me and K aren't doing anything, that I know of. I know, if I can, that I'm going to go to the store and get my kids these cool speaker/pillow things I saw for Valentines day.

We already had a three night adult only trip that was our valentines.

I have some red hots cause it's not valentines without those for me.

I'll probably take the kids out to eat and to a movie.

My husband is likely to bring home roses for me and death by chocolate cakes for the kids if he can find them.

I might buy a card for everyone and possibly some candy for the kids.

The kitties will continue to get lots of pets and hugs.

I am telling valentine stories at my gigs for two weeks.

That's about it.

Honestly, I'm sure I'm getting nothing for Valentine's day. But I can still WANT and if I'm going to want, then I'm going for the prettiest, shiniest thing I can find. LOL

I think the rose and picture idea is terrific, amadaun. I can't imagine someone who wouldn't love to receive that.

Like you, Fury and Grace, I've got things for my kids. And like you both, they hold the first place in my heart. ;-D

that is a GREAT idea.... my roomate and i are also very close and take nudes of each other for our respective SO's. recently she did a shibari shoot for me, which Sir loved. ehile she isnt into BDSM herself, she knows i am and understands and respects it. i her.

hehehe, she puts soo much effort into trying to always make me happy, she deserves more then that, but it's the best I can do.

But the only thing I'll really get is most likely the flowers I buy myself once a month. This month I'm spluging a bit and buying roses insted of carnations.

Our palace of naughtiness, the local Italian deli has a 35 buck order-in menu that comes with a rose. Tonight M and I both confessed that we were planning on surprising the other with a pre-order. Good thing we can't keep secrets or we'd be drowning in food.

We'll eat in, and then I am actually going to use one of those silly "cast your willy" kits on him. So later on, when it's not Valentines and I don't have to be nice I can literally tell him to go fuck himself. And watch.
