I heard an intersting story last night about Mugabe.

I can't say whether it's true or not but it goes back to when he was a young Marxist studying in South Africa.

Apparantly he was causing trouble way back then and the SASS (the South African Security Services) took him into custody and cut his balls off.

Years later when he was president of Zimbabwe one of the big stories about him was that he had his wife, Gwen, murdered.

The reason? She was pregnant and he knew it couldn't have been his child..

One can only hope it is true. Although I have never heard him sing castrati songs on the campaign trail.
When I was working in Zim. years ago, the rumour was that he liked small boys, likening himself to Socrates, who had the same tendencies.

If that was addressed to me have no fear. Many of my threads drive people absolutely crazy and I've been villifed more times than I've had hot dinners!

As long as good, lively, bad tempered argument comes out of them that's all I ask...

A bit like going down the pub with your mates and talking about all and sundry when the drink's inside you...
