I have to go to the orthodontist

I have a cemented in retainer on my bottom front teeth (it's after having had braces, and I'm sure a lot of you know what I'm talking about). Anyway, some of the cement chipped off today, leaving the wire explosed, and it's hurting my tongue, and it just feels ucky.

I hate orthodontists.

I have the same thing behind my bottom front teeth. For over 13 years now. Until you get to the orthodontist, here's a trick. Chew gum and put a small wad of it over the offending wire to blunt the sharp edge. Good luck!
