I have not seen any of the Oscar nominated pics of 2002.

And doubt (with exception of accident) that I will ever.

I only go to movies with my teen - teen movies.

I can't sit still for so-called 'good' movies - they bore me. And for what I must pay - it's not worth it - for me.

To each their own.

I go to movies for 'near total escapism,' - the nominated movies, year and and year out - do not reflect my need. I don't want to go to a movie to learn - nor to cry - nor to really think very much at all. I want to go to a movie to pretend I'm the character up on the big screen - I want to be the cowboy, the soldier, the detective.

I think, according to box office receipts - that I am by far in the majority of the movie ticket buying public.

Now - when the next Tractor Pull?

By the way - never seen Titanic - which flubs my box office theory. But then again Titanic is not my cup of tea - it's for fags.

Welp?

I tried the first one on DVD and fell asleep about a half hour in. The trailer looks cool but the total length and my experience with 'all the talk' of the first one - scares me.
