Oh God..... I think I would have to die to feel any better.
How can you take medicine to get better when you can't keep anything in your stomach ?

I have slept for about 25 out of the last 30 hours.
Is this what the flu is like ?
I have never really had the flu bug. I am normally quite healthy.
But man do I feel like shit right now.
:(

Sending....lots and lots..

Thanks ..... I think I am going to go back to sleep again.

Better take the time to recover, and be very careful. There have been quite a few really nasty bugs going around this year. One of my friends recently had to head in for a Lung Biopsy. If you aren't feeling better after about a week (or still throwing up after 3 days) Call Your Doctor. If it is something really nasty, medicating against it early can help speed the recovery time. Good luck, feel better, get plenty of rest, and don't try to eat anything for a while. After you throw up, swill your mouth out, but don't put anything in your stomach (water is ok, but anything else, lay off, and only sip the water) for about 3 or 4 hours. After that, be really cautious.

SilverVeil, warm cyber hugs your way. Try ginger ale for the tummy and keep sleeping. You may want to only have clear liquids for the next day or so. I don't know if sleep heals but at least you don't know you feel bad when you are sleeping.

Lots of folks are sick at this time of year so you are not alone.

This too shall pass but if you get concerned call your doc.
