(The film) reminds me of my Mom. She loved that film. She loved the song. And she especially loved Borgnine's performance. She always thought that, if there was a remake, John Goodman should reprise it.

I remember her eyes filling with tears when that song played during the movie, and how Borgnine's character, who was previously insulted by having his radio taken away, was softened by the look of transported joy on the injured man's face...

You really have no idea how to be a decent human being, do you?

1. The only people I have ever witnessed Ellie take jabs at are people who are quite less than innocent to begin with. On top of that, her snark is witty and generally deserved. Suck it up.

2. There are zero credible GB people. It's a text based forum. Anybody could be anybody and everybody has secrets.

3. I couldn't care less who has sympathy for me, I don't imagine Ellie does either. The entire GB could disagree with me, I would still stand up for what I believe in, sympathy or not. Anyone who hasn't gotten that about my personality by now is either blind, stupid, or both.
