That I should have just stayed in bed this morning. I dropped the open bottle of Downy and had to mop up the kitchen floor (which now smells Outdoor Fresh). But not only did the floor get hit, also the washer and dryer and the fridge (my laudry set up is in my tiny kitchen) Luckily it didn't get on the crackers I was getting out when I knocked over the bottle (damnit I thought I put the lid on it) I at my snacky crackers and then dropped my plate. thank goodness for Corelleware, it didn't chip or break or shatter (as correlle does when dropped just right). My poor son is covered in peanut butter but since he's happy I'm not going to risk the screaming baby tantrum over a peanutbuttery shirt. Someone come watch my baby so I can just lay in bed with the covers over my head until today passes by please.

I have Wednesday thru Friday off if the lil one wants to come over and help me change some spark plugs and wires, clean my air filter, take the truck to the car wash for a thorough motor washing and check the air pressure in the tires.

Except for the last thing, that's what the dealership is for. Well they do that too, but you can do that yourself...
And last week while I had my oil change and semi-annual maintenance done there was a lady giving free manicures.

He's afraid of the carwash. I think he thinks it's going to break through into the truck and eat us. He experimented with putting his arm into one of his toys the other day. Luckily it was only stuck because his arm was sweaty and he wasn't strong enough to pull it out. I can only imagine the looks I'd've gotten in the ER with a 15mo old with a toy stuck on his arm.

That ant bites suck and I shouldn't take benadryl if I don't want to sleep. Actually, I'm not really sure what bit me, but I'm guessing it was either an ant or a type of spider, I'm really leaning towards ant though cause it really hurt when it bit me, it felt like a bee sting but my skin is acting more like it was an ant and less like it was a bee. I got bit about 2 inches above my knee but I itch all the way to my hip if I don't take a benadryl.

Scorpion, for the win!!!

Ant bites usually have a little, tiny blister from the formic acid. Spider bites will have two little holes, one from each fang. Could be a bee.

Bees and ants both make a crusty spot that can expand to the size of a half dollar if I don't take benadryl. This one's kinda weird, it's turning a purple-ish color and because it's been hot it's got a ring around it (it's normal for me for bug bites in warm weather to get a ring so don't freak out, it's ok) it's getting better, but I really hate feeling drug sleepy from the antihistamine.

Okay, don't panic. You'll be okay but you are going to have to get someone to suck the poison out.

LOL, it's almost gone, but it's just not fun. could be worse though. The last time I got stung by a bee most of my bicep area got all funkycrusty like. then it stayed that way for almost 4 weeks. i din't take any antihistamines either though so it might have gone away sooner if I had.
