I'm thinking nonconsent/reluctance. For an example, we'll say a lonely woman takes on an inmate for a pen pal, just looking for a friend. After months, or even years of corespondence(sp?) he stops writing. She gives up and continues on with her lonely life, not taking a second look back, when one day he shows up at her door declaring his love for her, when she says she doesnt feel the same way, leads to rape. just an idea I havent heard and I know its hard to think of new stuff so I figured I would share, of course it could go the same way with a lonely man and a female inmate.

I think the last sentence does hold the spark of something I haven't seen before. A male pen-pal of a female inmate who is in for life. Then she is unexpectedly released (an amnesty, perhaps, or new evidence casts doubt on the conviction, or even escape) and goes to visit him, eager to consummate a relationship which he had only ever seen as pretend sex at a distance ...

You might be on to something with a female inmate. Though its been my experience that female noncons tend to do poorly.
