Found out today for sure. No revelations. No life changing plans. I would just like to survive it.

No, I'm not Ishmael.

4.1 cm stage 1 clear cell tumor on my left kidney. No spreading evident. I chose to have it blasted by radio frequency ablation, if I am eligible. I guess that means they stick a small speaker in it and play really loud Beastie Boys or something.

You gotta fight for your right to kidneys.

I feel for you. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Cancer sucks and it takes you places you never thought you'd go.

:rose:

That really sucks. I hope your recovery will be speedy.

It's certainly not good news by any means but there is an upside. It was found early. Cancer Treatments have come a long way. No spreading is great news. You can beat this.

I'm sorry for your DX and am hopeful for your complete recovery.:rose:

I think you're going to kick cancer out of your body and recover fully.
Best of luck to you going forward in your treatment.

There's a lot of upside. It's reachable. fairly small. No chemo or radiation should be necessary. Now I wait for probably 3 weeks for all the ducks to line up. I appreciate the sentiments though I probably don't deserve them.

Best of luck. Sounds like your chances are good. Hope so.

What do you mean you don't deserve them? Is this where you tell us you really are an alien? :)

You're alright. (I mean you're not an ogre or anything like that here.)

Sorry to hear this, Ann. Since you're into that torture stuff, I got you a rose.

I hope the doctors get it all on the first go round. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
