What sometimes happens in this little mid-michigan town....LOL

I was sitting down with NS and NSW, and a couple of others the other night, just hanging. And the conversation started to revolve around accents.

Now, since I was the only one there with an accent (One I dont particularly like) they of course started to ride my ass about it.
They claimed that a man or a woman with a genuine accent can go into "Shooters", a college bar here in town, and pick up any single woman/man there, based solely on accent and a little flirting.

I say it aint so, it aint that easy.

They hard headed stuck to their statement as I did to mine, and pros and cons was thrown back and forth across the table for about an hour or so, and at that time the conversation got a little heated.

Then NSW turns around and slaps me on the shoulder and says, "well if you're so sure it's not that easy, why dont you go out and prove it??"

Me, and my aggitated ass of course replies. "Well mayby I will!!"

So now they all has this master plan about dragging me into "Shooters" next weekend and test the theory...*Shakes head*

Anyway, the point to this story.
What do you think?? Girls, is it really that easy sometimes??

And being that you're in Michigan, I doubt your the only one with an accent. Everyone else just has the same accent.

I have an accent and I notice men seem to comment me on it and will ask me where I am from ... I don't think I have one but go figure...

But I do tend to pay a little more attention when a man comes up to me and speaks with an accent .... but the reason I do this is cause I want to see if I can guess where they are from ..

A sexy accent at times helps ... sometimes ... not all the times.

Speaking as someone who had a very good friend @ uni who had an accent, I can attest to the statement that all you'll have to do is flirt a little and smile. No offense to my friend (of who one female friend of ours said, "He looks like a weasel, but GODDD, that voice, I'd do him), but even though he wasn't very good looking, no matter where we went all he had to do was talk a little and in 5 minutes he had a phone number. Never once in 3 years did I see him refused. Shame he was dating a bitch for half that time.

I'm with NS and NSW on this one Xander, you're gonna get laid but lose your end of the bet. How tragic!!!
