I have an Avatar!

As anyone can tell by glancing to the left, I now have an Avatar! Since I don't wish to show my own face and I'm a big fan of lesbians, I went with something along those lines. I couldn't find anywhere where it indicated what was acceptable material for avatars and what wasn't, but I don't want to break any rules around here, so if there's some reason why this one isn't appropriate I'll change it.

Anyone?

You must first have 100 posts. I see you currently have 25, so you have a little ways to go.

I racked up posts fairly quickly by creating "update threads" for each of my stories, and then being fortunate enough in that people submitted to them fairly often. Another good way to increase the number of your posts is to do reviews of people's stories on Literotica in the appropriate forums.

Once you have your 100 posts, go to the User Control Panel (the little User cp button on your screen) and you can set up the Avatar from there. There don't seem to be any rules about what kind of picture you can use, so knock yourself out! You can also change it from time to time, something I plan on doing on a weekly basis just to keep it fresh - it's not like it's a picture of me, and I don't have any emotional attachment to it.

One of the reasons I joined these forums is just so I can reach 100 posts and post my own avatar, but since I don't have any of my own stories like Gystex does, my journey's going to be a lot longer.

First off, congrats! The first 100 is always exciting

As jakelyon pointed out, this is tame compared to some of the one's on lit. I don't believe that there are any rules about av's - some people use their own pics, some people use one's they've found, some people choose not to use them at all. It seems to me that there are no rules. Laurel and Manu are probably most pleased with the one's that aren't copyrighted, though <wink>

Since the pictures I am choosing don't really represent me, I'm having a little fun posting new ones from time to time. All lesbian themed, all close-ups, all essentially anonymous due to the close cropping.

I just thought everybody was showing off their Avators or AVs and thought... this chyoo thread wouldn't be complete without me too. So I have an AV, and there it is! *Points to the left*

One thing I wanted to point out... when a person changes their AV it changes on every post, past, present and future automatically. I think, anyway!

All it takes is 100 posts and then you can add a picture.

I don't quite get the excitment about it, but then I have not found a picture that works well for me.
