i have a thing about mixing good booze with tonic or soda pop or other mixers.

It's not that I can't afford to pour the good stuff, but I know that the drinker can't tell the difference unless the booze is the pits. If you drink the booze straight or with ice, I use the good stuff. Otherwise, not. That reminds me. It's time for a martini!:cool:
 
The "good stuff" in my family is Kiwi flavored Mad Dog so I don't think this will be a problem I'll have to deal with for a while.
 
How else you gonna drink something as nasty as Coke? It's battery terminal cleaner. Besides, I drink the cheapest whiskey available...

Depends on the mixer and the drink.

I can usually tell the difference between good booze and the cheap stuff if mixed. Now if you're using something really overpowering like coke as the mixer that would hide it but the flavor usually shows through tonic water, soda water or even fruit juice.

I have always enjoyed Coke. Yet I have never ever enjoyed the taste of alcohol. Can't really understand people that do.
