What prevents people under 18 years old to read this board or visit the other forums where there are some nasty XXX pix of members...

You're providing hardcore porn at a website thats not restricted at all and how do you feel about knowing kids under the age of 18 frequent this place and post as a "Guest"...

Shouldn't you require every person who posts here to register and attest that they are legal adults and shouldn't you restrict people who aren't registered from viewing this website...

i agree because if they had to register and say that they were over 18 they wouldnt lie :p

and there is so many naugthy XXX pics here that cant be found anywhere else on the net :)

how comes i use so much sarcasm responding to KR1's threads ? hmmm

the only way to stop the underage kids from looking around here, is their parents actually taking the time to see what they are up too........hmmmmmmm by the way.....where's your mommy????

those lips again

Damn April Wine would you please put those somewhere...they are so distracting.

I have a few suggestions as to where you can put them.

Exactly. When my ex and I were together, one of us (usually me) would stay in the computer room when his boys were online. Every time. They were never alone in the computer room. And, they had limited time online.

From the front page of the site -

By entering Literotica, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to our legal disclaimer. You are also confirming that you are at least 18 years old. We are rated with RSACi to protect children and free speech.

Tip-Toeing Around The Issue...

You wanna blame the parents for not monitoring their kids on-line eh? Well how about making it a little bit harder for kids to stumble upon this place and be able to post and view all the forums...

Who's responsible...

The webmaster or the parents for keeping little kids from viewing this website...

hmmmmmmmm waiting for any suggestion...........:p :p :p :p

KR, let's assume that your parents NEVER took any interest in your life, and for that reason, you blame society for YOUR life(s) problems. Aren't you smart enough to know that PARENTS are the ONLY ones that should be making sure that their kids do the right things in life? That includes what websites the kids are accessing on the computers that the parents own, NOT the kids.

I know you like controversy, Lord knows you get enough of it here, but come on wise up.

The parents, period. Laurel and Manu aren't their parents, and frankly they aren't responsible for making sure that nobody gets offended.

It's a stupid issue, anyway. At 17 and 364 days, you aren't prepared to see nakedness or sex. One day later, you're all set. It's a legality, and an idiotic one. Laurel and crew follow the rules about clearance and age verification, they've done their job.

The world's an offensive place, full of things you might not approve of or want your kids to see. The only way to control that is to monitor them.

If I ever have kids, I'm monitoring the TV to make sure the 700 Club never reaches them, at least not on my watch.

You Want Controversy...

I'm disgusted with some of the stuff that is allowed to be posted at this board with no regulation or responsibility to make sure that the material here is not only read by adults but posted by adults...

The ameture picture forum is really disturbing and I would suggest that any pix posted that remotely looks underage be removed...You don't know 100% that what people are posting in that forum isn't kiddie porn and for you members to condone such filth is irrisponsible...

Parents. Without a doubt. It's not up to any and every Webmaster out there to keep children out of their site. It's not THEIR job to RAISE another's child. Good grief! Now I see why people hate you and quickly become annoyed with you.

I bet you were educated in the great public school system of Texas, too...

Read the First Amendment. There are no big words.

Don't drag the school system into this. We do our best, but until we get halos and angel wings, miracles are not part of the services provided.

I've got windows that are less transparent than you.

<yawning>
i guess your website must be dieing. to bad you feel the need to try to take it out on others. in america they have a constitution that includes free speech. if you dont like it try afghanistan.

Since Kid Rock1 seems to have a juvinal mind set, and objects to the site content, I vote that he be denied access.

wah! i don't like the pic's and some of the subject matter of some of the threads! wah!

what a dipshit. how many months have you been wacking off to the pictures and reading the threads? NOW you don't like some of them. Please!

go back to your website and make it a place where people might want to hang out, and leave this one the hell alone.

The really relevant question, not usually asked by people who think their own "morals" are much better than most, is why should children be subjected to non-stop violence and questionable language in many movies and television shows?

Personally, I would rather my children see naked people than killings. Which is better or worse for children: seeing naked breasts or watching heads getting blown off?

Exactly! I've had this same discussion with my sister. I believe I mentioned allowing my son to watch Aly McBeal one time and she freaked. Said that there was a lot of sexual content on that show & shouldn't I be wary of letting my (then) 7 year old watch? I can explain the sexual innuendoes. I cannot explain why some want to watch movies where people are gunned down, ran over, blown up or physically tortured.

Yeah- when I was little, my mom let me watch the rated "R" movies on HBO (half of them would probably now be PG-13 though), as long as they weren't violent. Look at me- I turned out fine! :D
Hmmm.... maybe it ISN'T such a good idea to let your kids watch movies with adult sexual content then....
*This is just a joke- I agree with you guys, so no one jump on me please...
