does the age have to be specified? if the age is left off can't it be assummed that the two consenting partners are of age?18 and over and be left to the imaginations of the writers involved in the thread? just asking so that I have a clear understanding about the age factor.

P.s. sorry for the lame thread, just did not know where else to post it.

I think the mentioning of the age is merely a formality so we can imagine the little details. If someone doesn't tell me the age of the character, I just imagine them as 18 anyway.

Well, of course that goes without saying darlin. But I was talking the age as a formality when it comes to the thoughts of laugh lines, or greying hair. All the characters here better be 18, so I don't worry about that.

I'd say it goes without saying, but some people feel a bit more at ease if its stated somewhere in the post that the char's age is indeed legal- especially if the char acts a bit childish.
