Don't you dare dis Lad! That collie could have ended global hunger and cured cancer if he'd had thumbs or some kind of communication system, like Stephen Hawking.

I know, the resemblance to Lad's son, Wolf, is remarkable in left profile. But as we all know, Wolf was nowhere near the dog his father was. Lad forgave Wolf for trying to kill him, but Lady never got over the incident. She died drunk and alone in a flea-bag motel in Fresno, after choking on a splintered chicken bone.
