Thank you! She's a doll! :) KC have you thought of any names yet? What about something from that TS Elliot poem?

SO we can decide....

(FIlthy minded lot around here..yah know?)

Awww, congratulations on the kitty. I don't have any name suggestions though. Good luck with your search :cathappy:

I can't wait for the kitten pictures! My wife says we can't get another kitten until we are down to one or maybe two. (Currently have five, have had as many as six.)

When I met my kitten for the first time she was less than a week old and fit in the palm of my hand. Now nearly 10 years later she is a talk lanky 11 pound orange tiger strip girl who looks like she crawled under the bed and is covered with dust even after she is freshly washed. When I hold her in my arms, she stretches out and her had and shoulders dangle off my elbow, while her rump and tail dangle off my hand.

I'm partial to Tigger, but when I got her there were several other tiggers in the neighborhood. So I used the other comic cat toy from Calvin and Hobbs.

I rescued a black kitten a few years ago - took him to my vet, and the next day reluctantly took him to the local humane society no kill shelter, they wouldn't take him with no name. I later got a postcard from my vet, thanking me for referring "Rosco" and his mommy to them.

What does your kitten look like to you? Rosco just looked like a Rosco.

Hey Scamp is cute, in a not too cutesy way of course! I know exactly what you mean, it seems my cat will sleep all damn day but as soon as I want a nap hes running races thru the house lol, or chasing the dog. They do have a knack for that shit dont they. Hubby likes to turn the tables and wake him up when hes snoozin on the couch :catroar:

My kitty was all black, with amber-green eyes. I didn't know what to name him, so I just went to one of those babyname sites and looked through the foreign language areas.

I settled on Nashira -- it's Arabic, and means 'fortunate one'. It was his last day at the shelter, and they weren't the no-kill kind. I thought it fit. :)

Always been a cat person myself and I've always been partial to the name Tristan.

It's also from the Celtic name Drystan, which was probably derived from drest meaning "riot" or "tumult". In Celtic legend Tristan was sent to Ireland in order to fetch Isolde, who was to be the bride of King Mark of Cornwall. Instead, Tristan and Isolde end up falling in love.

Whenever I think of Tristen i think of the character from Anne Rice's Beauty Trilogy (though he was really only "featured" in Beauty's Punishment). I do like the name though.

I too am a cat person. My last Boy cat is named Bailey because he's the same color of Bailey's Irish Cream. However, we've since been calling him Nathaniel, a name from Laurell K Hamilton's "Anita Blake" series as he seems to be submissive to all our other cats.
