I have a new fetish

I have given up trying to rid my back yard of the moss. I have embraced the moss. It is part of the fabric of my lawn now. I am one with the moss.

But I don't like it on my roof. At all.

"I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song
It's for people like you that keep it turned on"

Ah, I got some of that citrus stuff to prevent moss from growing on the roof of my house. So far, no moss. It was nasty to apply, though. Now I have to get up there and sweep because my cedars are shedding.

Mostly, I just have moss along the north side of my fence, which looks like grass. I'm trying to cultivate it under some of my rhododendrons.

No fans of The IT Crowd?

I'm oh so blessed with acres of moss. It's cushiony and green and so alive with faery folk! I was moss hunting for a new project just yesterday. It's amazing how many different kinds there are just within feet of each other!

Here's my mini Stonehenge replica...
