The language is rich, varied and deep in meaning. It's shocking and irreverent. It has a charge to it that I take great joy in breaking down.

Tell me that I'm not alone in my love of profanity.

I'm not fond of it myself but I know most will agree with you.

You're not alone Ruby.

I mean, what other word could possibly replace the meaning and force implied in the word *fuck*?

I seem to have quite an affinity for very colorful language when someone has angered and hurt me, but with sexual talk, I draw some line of "not going there". I guess I just feel there are better ways to express your feelings than the use of certain "trigger" words...though I admit, I have been known to scream out "please, just **** me!!!" I know, I am a riddle.

One of the most interesting comments I ever received on my teacher evaluations was:

"Instructor takes the Lord's name in vain."

Well, there are modern men named Jesus ... you could be taking their names in vain....

And Christ wasn't his last name.. just thought I'd slip that in there.

LOL -- true, true....

What was his last name? I don't remember them telling us that in Sunday school.

Point being: you weren't taking the lord's name in vain .. you weren't even saying his name.

Hmmm, interesting topic. I personally am comfortable with it, but try to respect others feeling if i'm around someone who is not. I also will not curse in front of my daughter!

Well, people probably called him Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus son of Joseph.
So his last name would be Nazareth or Josephson.

Jesus Josephson.

That doesn't inspire near the reverence that *Jesus of Nazareth* does... lol, in fact, it brings up a whole different image completely ...

Oh hell, I need to go to bed already!

Actually (someone stop me) his name would be Yahweh en-Nazirah

Thank you Rick. Fuck is just a great word. I won't attempt to try to do it better than George Carlin, but fuck, fucked, fuck me, fuck you, fucking, I'm fucked ..... it's fucking endless the way this little four letter word can convey a message.

Some days it seems as if I'm almost famous for it. Especially my catch all phrase "fucking piece of shit" goes a long way to ease frustration. It works equally well for computers or people.

"Stop. :p "

Yahweh fudging en-Nazirah!
I was having fun.
