A Texas doctor found guilty of raping a sedated patient in her hospital bed has escaped facing any time behind bars.

Instead, a court sentenced 46-year-old Shafeeq Sheikh on Friday to 10 years probation. He’ll also have to register as a sex offender for life, BuzzFeed News reports. He had already lost his medical license, following his arrest.

Vigilante justice is usually illegal, folks. But if this dude had a bad run-in with a barbed wire bat in front of me, I would say I saw absolutely nothing.
