I HATE my Asst. Manager,(Ranting)

I JUST got off of work, and between greeting Customer's, I was reading "Harry Potter." Now, I see other people doing their homework between Customer's, with no problem. Although, with me, it's a problem. To make things worse, the Asst. Manager tells me, instead of greeting, I was reading, letting them go by. I was NOT!!!!!!!!! When the Customer's walked in, I said, "Hi. How are you?" Or something to that effect. BUT, she CLEARLY stated, I wasn't. How on earth she KNEW I wasn'r greeting them I don't know. Does she have a mike that is wired to me?LOL Who was wrong?

She's ALWAYS in a pissy mood. To make things worse, I have a Job Coach that is their to take me to work. Supposedly, tyheir there to assist me,(but how do you assist a Greeter?) NOW, being up front can be the most obnoxious thing, EVER!!!!!!!! SO, my Asst. Manager goes over to the Cafe, see's the Coach is reading, and reams HER out. HELL!!!!!! She doesn't even work their. OH, btw, since you responded, I'm feeling better.

ok... coming from an "employees point of view".. she was wrong to yell at only you.. all employees doing something other than their job should be told not to do it.

coming from a "managers point of view" you were wrong for reading while you are at work.

I used to own a business.. and i hated it when my employees did something other than work.. i didn't pay them to do their homework, read Harry Potter or talk on the phone to their friends.

Now, if your employee says these activities are ok.. then tell her to piss off.. you were doing your job and until she sees you not doing it.. to leave you alone..

Don't get mad at me.. i'm just stating my opinion..
