I hate being sick

My sinus issues have exploded into a full-blown sinus infection, plugged ears, pain and all. I called into work, but can't get into the doctor's office until tomorrow morning.

Yes, I'm whining, but I don't feel good.

Best to take some pseudoephedrine, painkillers and go to bed and try to sleep. Hot honey and lemon drink is kind of soothing too.

Take a shower as hot as you can stand it, breathing deeply.
Yeah, means lots of drainage, but better out then in.

From the reviews its the greatest non-medicine thing for sinus pain/colds.
Haven't used it myself but I've seen dr's prescribe similar things.

I did take the hot shower and had a lot more drainage, so the pressure on my ear is down somewhat, and I slept more. I took OVC meds. Feeling somewhat better, but it's there.

I am. I have prescription strength meds now, and I can BREATHE again. I still have a fever, but that will hopefully break soon.

Glad you're feeling better. It's must've been sick subbie month this month. (I had chicken pox! At my age! Rats!) I'd make you some chicken soup if I could cook..

Chicken pox? I'm glad that I don't remember having it. I am the youngest, so when my sister got it, we ALL got it.

it was too funny. WHen I found out tht one of my teamates had it, and I already had the rash, I called my mum to ask if I'd had it. She says "yes dear, you all had it when Jamie was five, I remember because he missed the first day of kindergarten." I said "but MUM! Jamie's 8 years old then me!" She just says, "then you haven't had it dear. SHould I come down?"

Anyhoo, my cooking is not so good, so maybe I should promise not to feed a person chicken soup..
