I don't get to do something I wanted to do around Christmastime because of it. :(

Money sucks.

Actually, for once in my life I'm making a financially responsible decision completely against my own personal wishes and desires. I just wish I could have my cake and eat it too. :)

I never realized how bad job-hunting is until now. :(

I'm in debt and wish I was just broke.
At least that way, I'd be breaking-even.

Wait.. why did you go and do a grown up thing like that? ;)

Whatever kind is her favorite. Maybe, she would like cash instead?:)

I'm glad I'm not a student anymore. Now I'm living and working and still broke.

It's really just the "no money" thing that gets me.

Hey, just think. Someday you might be the parent of a student and then it'll happen all over again! :D

What he said.

And remember, you're almost out of school and into a good job. I remember that first year of working out of college. I couldn't believe how much they were paying me! I went from about $3 per hour to about $7.50 per hour overnight when I left my part time school job and starting my full time job. (This was decades ago.) It was a great time to learn to live on less than what I was earning since I'd been living on less all along as a college kid. I paid off a brand new car that first year by not really changing my lifestyle much, just putting the money to the car and then savings after that when the car was paid.

But, none of that helps when there is something you want NOW but can't really afford it. Unless you remind yourself that you will be able to afford it in 6 months, so you're just borrowing a bit from your future? Is it important enough to be worth that? It might be (just a guess.)

message truncated by Blue...sorry.

Yeah, I know the feeling. But I don't hate money...I love it...just wish I had more of it! It is being broke that I hate.

And cheyenne is right about what she said above. Wish we would take that advice. I'm fixing to put some more charges on the ol' plastic card. Stupid me.

I loved being a student and having no money.

Money is property. Property is evil. Property ends up owning you.

Count your blessings.

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying,
And this same flower that smiles today
Tomorrow will be dying.
