One of the editors I worked with replied that what I had written turned her on, adding that it was rare that that happened when editing. I was quite flattered.

And I'm pretty sure she speed-reads for web site violations and that's about it. Considering a majority of what gets submitted, there's only so much "insert tab A into slot B" that you can read without getting bored. *yawn*

Heh. True, but I still think that there will always be at least one story every new cluster that is so well-made that the editor or webmaster (webmistress?) can't help but get attached to it.

And you can find the "E" picks just by searching under the advanced search function. Just click the "editor's choice" box. There are also boxes for "Contest Winners" and "Hot."

Nah, don't worry, they hide. Really. It took me a year to find out that the "contest winners" list existed. Another year to find the "favorites" list. That one is really elusive! I don't even think it's listed anywhere!
