I thought it would be cool to have a thread
where you can post things that maybe dont
fit anywhere else....warm fuzzy things is what
I had in mind...
something you just want to tell .... not to anyone
in particular....
so here goes..

today my 3 year old informed me when he gets big
hes going to buy a motorbike...and it will seat 2 people
and hell drive while i sit on the back....then hes going
to take me out for coffee and hes going to pay..

LOL
doesnt it make ya smile

Awww that is so cute!!!!

AME,

Earlier, I was raking leaves in my backyard when the little boy who lives in the house behind mine came over with his little play rake. He wanted to know if he could help me. He's almost 4 years old and I'm sure his mom must have told him it would be a nice thing to offer. I let him help me and when we were finished I brought him out some cookies that I had made that morning. I wanted to let him know that when you do nice things for others nice things will happen to you.

It also gave me a chance to remember when my son was a little boy and how much fun we had playing with all of those leaves.

Oh, that's so sweet! I still take my mom out to dinner, and I do pay, when I actually have money. Her current favorite restaraunt is 'Mimi's Cafe'. We just sit there and eat quiche, drink coffee and talk for hours. My mom is still my best friend.

Is that totally nerdy?

Aww very cute!!

Smiling what a very cute nice thread. Children with such dreams and open hearts are music for the soul. They can make you smile with little effort. My little niece Emily always makes me smile when I hear her call someone "Honey". I don't know for sure where she picked that up at but she calls everyone that now. She is only 4 yrs old too. Thanks for the smiles!

Ms Angel,

It touched my heart so very much, thank you for your lovely words.

Yes, children can make you feel so warm inside. There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of their laughter and those sweet little giggles.

Now, when I hear someone calling "Honey", I'll think of your niece, Emily. That was so very sweet. Thank you for sharing that.

It's really all about the little things, isn't it? When it comes right down to it - they are some of the most important parts of our lives.

GreenEyedGodess ,

Keep enjoying your mom. I often think of my mom and would relish her company now.

Hugs to all,
smilingblues

This one should make you laugh.....

While we were driving on the motorway....

she was most peeved with me when I burst
out laughing and couldnt stop for a good 5
minutes!!!

AME,

That was so very cute. Your daughter has the right idea, though. I think that someone's death should have everything to do with celebrating their life. Please give her a hug for me...and one for yourself as well.

I really like this thread...sometimes in the midst of our busy days, we tend to forget the little pleasures that are bestowed upon us.

This morning as I was trying to wake up my son, he was still in that semi-sleep stage, he gave me an air kiss and that just really made my morning. He hasn't done that for quite some time and it made me smile.

Of course, I had to keep going upstairs to shake him until he finally rolled out of bed...that's what happens when I let him watch wrestling until the late hours of the night. lol

To everyone...I wish you all a day filled with lots of happy surprises and endless smiles.

This thread is wonderful! It is far too often that we overlook the little things in life.....

A few weeks ago my mom, my daughter and me went shopping together. My daughter is 4 years old, the youngest of my 4 children and also the only girl. We were in the little girl's clothing department...she walks over to me with a bra in her hands and says, "Mommy, you need to buy me a bra. I like this one." I looked over at my mom and we both busted out laughing.

She has a fascination with breasts.....wondering where she got that from. *weg*

Thanks smiling...

I just now seen the reply to the post. Yes Emily is a character, you never know what she might say. She is scared to death of spiders (fake or real) and knows that spiders make the webs. She took my mom back to the bedroom saying "Ewww scary Mawma... scary.." She pointed out a cobweb on the ceiling to her..lol

AME, thank you for the smiles as well. I was confused when I wrote my first post thinking that it was Smiling that started this thread. Now I will thank you... the actual thread starter! It is so nice to be able to recognize the small things in life that bring such joys to us!

I hope you all have a great day! Thanks everyone for the smiles!!

Love,
Ms Angel :rose: and

wonderful husband....

Out of the mouths of babes.

I'd like to share a story about my 5 year old nephew. On the morning of Septemeber 11, my sister went into his bedroom and told him to hurry up, they had to leave for school. He told her he'd be down in a few minutes, there was something he had to do. A little while later, he called down to her, telling her to come into his room, he had to show her something. He had taken all of his little police cars and fire engines and lined them up on his bed. He put all of his policemen and firefighters beside them. He then told her, "This is for all of the people who died when the planes crashed."
They had never discussed it. Maybe he heard something on tv or in school, but it really wasn't discussed in the house. But wherever he heard about it, it stuck with him, and he felt he had to do something.
Yes, my sister cried.
Yes, I did too. ;)

You will love the experience...I did the same thing for my wife a while back at a place near our home. I never saw her look sexier.

KR

Saw this thread and you folks talking about children, I have to share my niece. This pic is a few months old, but I love it. You can't resist her big grin when she flashes it at ya. I'm prolly just biased, but I think she could definitely model.

When she wants a kiss, she won't move her mouth away till ya kiss her. It's SO cute. Definite warm fuzzies from those.

Alias that was such a cool story
(umm i cried too)
Thanks KR...im really excited about the present

and SD that little girl is gorgeous...

SD, you'd better start working on that closet now. Because before you know it, that lil cutie pie is going to have to be locked up in it. She's gonna have all kinds of lil boys chasing after her!!

Hahaha.
I keep telling her mom, "yep, soon it'll be miniskirts, boys, alternative music, and piercings!"

You should see the glare.
