I am bumping this to the top...only because we take life for granted sometimes and a smack in the head brings us back to what life is really all about...so hey take a look won't hurt ya and maybe you will kiss your family when you get home....

what is that music? I know it, I can hear the rest but what is it?

Got it!

Tempus Vernum-Enya

I thought the site was interesting because it also talked about civil liberties as well, which we appear to have lost as well as several thousand lives and our "innocence."

Got chills once again! Just like on the day it happened.

No chills here ...

Just waiting to give it back if and when I can. Nothing's really been done about it so far, except for some cleanup in some places. I must admit the cleanup was not too bad, but not good either.

Hello there 1sexylady!

For acknowledging this awful time in our lives.

I am not trying to bring our spirits down in anyway but this moved me so much I have to make my VOICE heard. We seem to forget the people who died not just in New York City but on the plane that hit Pa. and what it did in Washington as well. The millions of lives that was affected because of hate.

How close this country came to such destruction. It affects not just this country but all countries, all the people. It was not just Americans on those planes.

So when your fighting with a loved one or friend....maybe we should think *hey they may not be here tomorrow.* and realize it is not worth the fight.

MAKE LOVE NOT DESTRUCTION AND HATE.... :rose: :rose: :)

I sent that link to all of my family and friends. Although it made the majority of them cry, it was certainly worth it. God Bless America

best online tribute yet

I lived in NYC at the time of the attacks and worked downtown only mere blocks from the WTC. I have to say that I found this to be one of the few tasteful and sincere tributes.

Job well done...to whoever produced it!!!

Wish I could take credit for that but I can't. I got it in my email and thought it was worth posting.

I sincerely hope you are ok. Being in New Jersey and seeing it gave me nightmares. I can only imagine the folks that lived and worked right there. :(

Damn.

Its been 10 years since I lived in NYC, but I lived there for 35 years. I had thought I had gotten past it, but that brought it all crashing back down again.

Back in 94 I had an office on the 76th floor of tower II. I probably would have still been there if I hadn't moved. Of the more than 20 people I knew and considered friends, 6 did not make it out of that building alive and another will deal with the pain of his injuries for the rest of his life. The company I worked for ceased to exist on that day.

I would like to say that seeing that brought up feelings which are good, but I can't. All it did was rekindle both an anger and a feeling of loss which I can't describe well.
