Yes, I know. I think that was the whole point of the cartoon when it was produced. It just struck me as funny. I sent it to a couple of Doctor friends and they thought it was absolutly sidespliting funny.

#4 is classic Charles Addams, even though it isn't.

I was a collector of cartoons and comics as a youth (yes -- Comic Book Guy), and I loved Charles Addams. His stuff stuck in my head. He also thought Goth chicks were cute, and his R.L. wife was based on his cartoon wife. Life mimicking art.

I have a book by the very strange New Yorker cartoonist Abner Dean, which I'll scan and put up links to (if I can find the book in my vertically stacked library)
