I'll take that recipe for pork chops. I like to brown mine and smother them with a cream sauce before baking. I'm looking for a new idea tho.

I usually use boneless chops. Brown them first. For the sauce, I take three cans of tomato soup, chopped celery, onions and peppers and some cajun spice. Let it all swill together in a crock pot for an hour or so. Pour it over the chops, spinkle some parmesean cheese over it and bake it for about a half hour at 350. Serve over rice. Incrediibly yummy.

Ingredients
6 pork chops
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
10 ounces salad dressing
1 cup apricot preserves


Directions

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2 Place the pork chops into a casserole dish. Mix onion soup mix, Russian dressing and apricot preserves together.
3 Pour mixture over chops and bake for 1 hour.

With rice? El yummo. :)

This is how you make cream sauce. :)

Cream Sauce



1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups light cream
2 onions, studded with 3 cloves
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper -- to taste
fresh nutmeg, grated -- to taste
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour, and cook over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Do not brown.
In another saucepan, bring the cream just to a boil. Stir the warm cream into the flour mixture, whipping until smooth.
Add the onions and bay leaves, and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Strain the sauce and serve.
Makes 2 cups.
