I got a new Tattoo!!!

It is on my lower left calf it is the triple goddess moon with ivy around my leg....Im so happy

three hours in the chair and worth every second!

Should have the pics in a day or so!

The triple goddess moon represents the three aspects of the goddess Maiden Mother and Crone. As a woman I embrace all three of these as a beautiful part of the journey of my life. As a pagan It is a beautiful symbol of my beleifs for me.
The ivy represents me. ever growing and changing...growing in ways and places never expected and often thriving despite adversity.

Together the two symbolize strength and faith.

It really does not hurt that much...honestly...it stings and depending on the spot it depends how much it hurts.

If you find a good artist who is on the same wave length as you they can help you design it. My artist is just that. I saw him a week ago to finalize the design and we spent 2 hours going over it...then he inked it tonight...it is perfect exactly what I wanted.

They're both gorgeous! Is the new one as colorful?

I know it's not too painful usually. I have lots of friends that have them, but I had to be on valium to get my ears pierced.

The new one is done in two brilliant shades of green for the ivy and the triple moon is lavender and Magenta,

I have an anxiety disorder and I just take my medication so that it kicks in around the time Im starting to help fight off the natural anxiety...after about a half an hour it doesnt even really hurt for me...but three hours is my limit per session after that I start getting far too tender.

Make someday happen, I waited 7 years between my first and when I got it covered up (the sun) now this is my third in a year... as I walked into my artists house his wife said " welcome to your new drug" and it is! I have my 4th planned.

Congrats with your new tattoo Kitte! I recently got my last tattoo as well, it's about 2 weeks ago actually.

I are in the group that wanted a tattoo for years, but I wasn't quite sure what to get. Then one day it hit me, that I want the ying/yang symbol. Today it's about 2½ years ago I got that one, and I now have three tattoos, and I'm already thinking about the next!

Beautiful work. I love the "action" shots I think we got a few of those on a friends camera we will find out in the next day or so.

My new one is in a similar spot to yours I was lucky I got to lay down for most of it but did get twisted into some pretty interesting positions to get the ivy all the way around my leg. But hey I am all for getting twisted into positions for pain
