I'm glad we're backing the USA, but...
...I hope that when Bush says he's going to "whip" terrorism and wants the world to help out he means to set his own house in order. Stopping collections for the IRA in America would be a good indication of his intentions - the bombs and weapons bought with American donations have caused a hell of a lot of damage and loss of life in the UK, over the years.
As an example, a post here a couple of weeks or so ago (I cannot recall who made it, but I'll try a search and see what comes up) made mention of Americans rattling collection tins at Irish-themed events in the USA. The sales pitch they were making was, if my memory of the post serves was, "Your ten cents could help kill a British soldier. It's the best bargain you'll ever get."
The bomb at Canary Wharf a few years ago was just as sickening as the latest events in the USA, if not on the same scale.
Anyway, that's for later - for now, let's get behind the Americans and find the scum.
