26 Is a lil young to be giving up. As for keeping your attention do you mean online or in person? I think that online to keep one's attention you encounter some problems you might not have in person. Sooo with that said you should be a little more patient here. Also maybe you should tell a little more about yourself. Maybe mention your interests, hobbies, and other things such as your preferences. If you are too broad you may not get anyone because they can't relate to anything you have or haven't said.
