That actually explains a fair number of Zumi's posts. I suspect.
 
Make mine a large one ,with tonic ,ice and a slice of lemon .

Mrs Rug used to say one should pour the gin, then threaten it with tonic (but don't actually add any).

I, personally, think gin tastes like paint thinner. Mrs Rug says my scotch tastes like boiled lighter knots. No danger of us drinking each other's liquor, the secret to a long and happy marriage.
 
If its free and alcoholic I'll drink it .
Usually I drink wine or beer but in Holland its Amstel with a jonge Genever by the side .
