In "Maloclm in the Middle" last year someone had a peeps eating bet that ripped off "Cool Hand Luke". Very funny.

Perhaps they've had PEEPS, but as with most things had no clue what they were really called?

My Grandma LOVED Peeps... Easter was not Easter without Peeps in her home...

I take a package of them to the cemetary every Easter now...

Nope. Trish and Bluesy had this huge convo about Peeps. He didn't know what they were. I bought him a box. Still no clue -- but even though he was curious, upon seeing them, he decided they looked a little too scary to try, so we bought 3 more boxes and shipped the lot to Trish (which has slight, ummmmmm prediliction for them)

It's selective memory, or just plain fibbing. Speaking as an older man myself, I know how much women prefer their men to show disregard of the brand names for marshmallow goodies. It also makes things easier for us men when we forget the names of a woman's childhood pets or stuffed animals.

EE I used to sell Cadbury chocolate imported from the UK (not licensed to Hersey and made in Pennsylvania). I like Cadbury's Roses.

BTW -- did you see on their website www.cadbury.co.uk that they're conducting a study about how chocolate affects mood? They're asking for people to participate if anyone is interested. I could think of quite a few women around here who might be good study candidates!

You should see what they do in the microwave. Of course, hollow chocolate easter bunnies are something to watch, too, especially if they have any tiny touches like sugar-sparkly eyes or nose...

PEEPs must be hard and dried out before I will eat them... I like my marshmellow all crunchy...

Firm is good. I'm not sure it would matter to the microwaving, but you've suggested an area of study.

The crunchy sugar coating was the deal-killer for Bluesy. He did one of those "someone's-walking-on-your-grave" shudders and said "NO WAY" he'd eat one of those. Bless his heart. He just doesn't know what he's missing.
