I've tried to participate in a lot of threads, I've created some threads, tried to connect with a few people via PM, but just have not felt like I "fit in"...

But I am beginning to realize, for ME, I'm not supposed to "fit in" here. I have not been shy about my faith on LIT. A few have been understanding, many call me a hypocrite, and trust me, I get why they have.

Just because you are a Christian does not mean you don't have the same temptations, lusts, and desires as everyone else - even as a Christian you are STILL human.

However, as a Christian, you have accepted Christ as your Savior, had the penalty for ALL of your PERSONAL sins paid for with His crucifixion - and HIS RESURRECTION. Faith in what Jesus Christ did is what saves someone, NOT their behavior, NOT if your "good deeds" number more than your "bad deeds."

So, while your behavior is NOT what saves you, your behavior SHOULD reflect what you believe, you should "behave" as someone who is grateful for what Christ did, and conduct yourself in a manner that would be pleasing to Him.

SO FOR ME PERSONALLY - I should NOT feel like I "fit in" here because, although sex is NOTHING to be ashamed of and is not "dirty," God does have guidelines.

Again, I SAY THIS FOR MYSELF ONLY - the way I have talked about sex and some of the "fantasies" I have posted about would NOT be pleasing to Christ.

So as of today, I will not be posting here any longer. Again, I hope the only person who takes this PERSONALLY, is me.

If anyone would like to discuss anything with me, you can email me at:

Great thread. We all are sinners. Apostle Paul wrote" I sin daily" and for those who don't know, Paul wrote a huge part of the New Testament

Jesus spent most of his ministry among the worst sinners, but he did not participate in their sins. Jesus loves all people, but will not be a part of their unrepentant sins.
Guess I need to leave as well.

I hope you find some peace... I’m an atheist but if I did believe in something bigger, I would expect that being wouldn’t be too judgmental about consenting adults doing stuff that didn’t hurt anyone else...

I don’t know your kinks, but I don’t think Jesus would have an issue with most lit’ers... Jesus the man was pretty cool... the churches built in his honour are hypocritical piles of shit...

Gandhi said it best when declared he liked your Christ but was less keen for on your Christians...

If you hurt no one else and it’s all consensual fun, you keep on doing you, you’re doing alright and Jesus the man would happily sit with you as he did with the prostitutes and other ‘sinners’...

You do you, boo!

If leaving lit makes you feel less guilty/at a dichotomy then that is absolutely what you should do.
However, if you do leave and come to my realization that G-d cares a whole lot more about how we treat other people and what we give back to the world and less about what you stick in your cunt, hit me up! I was raised Southern Baptist so guilt is something I definitely struggle with but I feel like I'm at a pretty good place now.

True.
Christian women give themselves to the nonChristian men they date all the time. Christian men often have sex. Sex is a big part of life.
Many realize that after letting go of their self-imposed religious restrictions.
