Good ideas. I like this picture because a friend found it for me and she says it describes me perfectly. It's a drawing of a pale boy with a bit of eye makeup in a dark outfit snapping his finger together with a small, shadowy wisp drifting from his fingers. I like it just because it's got an element of intrigue and magic to it. I'm a sucker for things like that.

This is the fifth entry in the FAQ thread in the "How to" forum:

AVATAR (pic under a username) INFO / How do I get an avatar? / Why can't I post an avatar?

The site owners were just stupid enough to think that newbies wanting to know HOW TO get an avatar might check the HOW TO forum first and that they might GUESS that the subject might be covered in the FAQ thread, which cryptically means "Frequently Asked Questions."

I am sure they will be terribly saddened to learn HOW they so miserably failed you.
