I have had a week (I know it is only half over) of hurting people very close to me unintentionally. It has made me feel sick to my stomach. So, if I could find a little corner to curl up in with my blankie and a pillow and a good book...and just hide there for the next year...

A friend of mine would say guilt is an imagined emotion and that you just need to ignore it.
