I have been reading and writing on the literotica site for months now, but only recently started looking at and responding to the bulletin boards. I feel like I just went back to high school/college and I'm looking around feeling like a freshman all over again...(lol). It always felt better (as painful as it might have been) when the upper class persons would initiate the freshman. I can see from the number of threads people have posted and all the great graphics, who the upper class persons are in this realm. Any ideas for a literotica initiation? And I'd love to hear stories of your past initiations, either in the fantasy or the real-world realm.

Well, aside from those spankings upon reaching Guruhood, there's no real initiation. Jump into the threads that interest you and post away.
You might want to do an introductory thread on the General Board, which is, to say the least, a more open forum. It isn't really necessary, though.
By the way: it helps to keep things in perspective and have a crust, if not a thick skin. Sometimes things get, er, lively and it can sting.

Watch it. These boards can have a terrible effect on one; instead of working industriously away, writing new and better stories, one whiles away the day reading and responding to posts.
Pretty soon it's time to call in the pets and go to bed, and NOTHING got done; not housework, nor cooking, nor even writing.

Oh My God...that is exactly what I realized this morning. I usually spend my morning writing and all of a sudden I looked at the clock and my writing time was over...and I had spent all that time reading the boards. Yikes!!!! I have five stories partially done, and here I am playing on the boards. Time for some "time management."

Nice to know that others out there feel like a HADEESH (best English translations are greenhorn or tenderfoot) Also good to know that there are others who have more than one unfinished story. I keep telling myself, finish one before you start the next, but I don't listen to me any better then my wife or kids.
