Owning a dog is a responsibility that most people cannot fulfill. The more people profess to love their "fur babies" the less I like them. My nature trail is now loaded with dog shit from asshole dog owners who won't clean up. I hope they ban dogs from it, which I think they will pretty soon. They ruin it for everybody.

Whats a nature trail without a little poop on it? :)

I applaud the dog owner scooping the poop into a bag. I despise the asshole who takes that bag of shit and leaves it hang on a branch along the trail. And I have hateful feelings for the asshole who hung the bag, and did not pick it up on the return trip.

Out on the mountain trails, if your dog poops off trail, so be it. But if you pick it up, don't hang the shit in a plastic bag to eventually fall back on the trail and be a problem.

I have dogs.
I love dogs.
I take care of my dogs.
I take care of my dogs business if in a public place. Which doesn’t happen often.

So what you actually don't like are assholes.

It would be better if people respected dogs rather than loved them. Start off by treating them as dogs not substitute humans.

Feed them properly, keep them clean, make sure they behave, clean up after them; when they become old and infirm do not procrastinate the necessary decision to end their lives.

Substitute children. :)

I was going to post but my dog is looking at me with her favorite toy in her mouth...I have to go.

Indeed, it is a serious responsibility, like to bear a child. It is an alive creation and it needs care and love the same as people. Unfortunately, some people don't understand there are no bad dogs. Only bad owners. When you take a puppy, you accept a pure being into the family and his behavior and deeds is your school. Read more articles and advice about attitudes to the animals and treatment to them in the blog https://thepetsmaster.com/how-to-cook-marrow-bones-for-dogs/. I'm sure you will find a lot of new information for yourself and maybe you will change your opinion.

Five bucks says Ramone is a cat...

I don't generally have a beef with dog owners per se, but I DO have a beef with unleashed aggressive dogs.

You know, the kind that will charge in unprovoked, snarling, snapping and barking at random hikers/joggers, while the owner will stand there and use the tried and true excuse they whip out at least twice a day on average when their dog does that: "Oh I'm so sorry, he NEVER does that."

Bottom line, if you can't control your pet off-leash, then don't frickin' let him off-leash. This, coming from a person who has been bitten multiple times, in one case rather severely, by an aggressive off-leash dog who "NEVER does that."

Otherwise, dogs, and dog owners, are fine with me. I do get along with most dogs. Most of them but not all of them obviously.

I have a lot of land, they never leave it, so,
they never leave a problem for other people.

The first thing we do is kill all the vets.

(animal doctors, not those who served; we already have killing them covered)

For fucks sake, half the the people can’t even raise their children properly; now you want them to look after pets?

This thread needs a picture of Edward.
