I don't know how to look at other peoples' profiles...I'm sure it's awfully simple and I just haven't figured it out...can someone tell me how to? Thanks!

The easiest way is to find a message they've posted. At the bottom of the post box there are links you probably never noticed to PM them, to their profiles, to add them to your buddy list and other stuff.

If not that, then what I do is copy their name, go to the story index (there's a link at the bottom of every Lit page, I believe), and scroll down to the bottom, to "Story Search". Click on that, and then paste their name into the "Search by Author" box. If they've written anything, their profile page will come up.

I guess you could do the same with "Search for Members", but I don't know if I've ever tried that. I know that using the alphabetical member search is futile. There's something very wrong with it.

Yes, you can also use 'search members' and enter their name (or partial of name). It will take you to their member page.
