I don't know… (political)

Oh my gawd. Please tell me that's a stolen article from The Onion!

OMG!! What FRACKIN' MORONS!:eek::eek:

Sorry. I mean come on. They use the word "Choice" to let you know that you can actually CHOOSE, (ie. make a Choice) which of the donut you want and now they are "Pro-abortion" donuts? Seriously, that's whacked out!!

I wish this were not real, but I suspect it really is!! Geez!

*smacks head* owww
Morons!

ETA: By the way, I choose laugh! It really is too stupid to cry about.

Well, I am somewhat inclined to believe that anyone who eats more than one crispy creme donut at a sitting is anti-life, but probably their own. :D

Truth be told. I don't like Krispy Kreme donuts. I prefer Dunkin if I have to have store bought. A dear friend of mine from years ago used to make homemade donuts. I've been spoiled...and now I don't like anyone's but hers!!:D

And, ya have a point!!

What about "choosy moms choose Jif"?

Or "The choice of a new generation"?

Or "Buy Windows or hired assassins will destroy the lives of everyone you know and love, burn your horses, rape your fields and ride off on your women"

Ok so that last one is really a ad campaign but I'd be more likely to buy Windows if it was.

"Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (NYSE: KKD) is honoring American's sense of pride and freedom of choice on Inauguration Day, by offering a free doughnut of choice to every customer on this historic day, Jan. 20. By doing so, participating Krispy Kreme stores nationwide are making an oath to tasty goodies -- just another reminder of how oh-so-sweet 'free' can be."

Makes compete sense. Krispy Kreme's doughnuts are very liberal and politically active.

That second article was so biased. Poor journalism taking sides like that.

The second piece was written by American Life League president, Judie Brown, and is from their website.

Check that out for a new adventure in misinformation.

They still claim that the birth control pill contains abortifacients and warn all their members to never use it. They list one book as the source, plus another doctor or two. This flies full in the face of everything the AMA states.

Beware.

It is pretty idiotic for somebody to take offense under such circumstances. Certain words, such as "choice," may drive them to distraction when used in another, completely innocuous context.

Having said that, I seem to remember a similar thread, when a word was used by somebody, and another person took offense because the same word, under totally different circumstances, was considered to be a racial slur or something of the sort. I don't remember the details of the other thread.

Abortion doughnuts?

Someone's gone off the deep end.

I'm surprised they haven't tried to draw a parallel between doughnut holes and abortion:

"Last year alone, over 50,000,000 helpless, innocent doughnut holes were violently ripped from the bodies of their mother doughnuts."

Just spit out my coffee!

:D

Man, I've got to get down to the local store to get me some pro-choice donuts!

Someone needs to send American Life League president Judie Brown some "donut-bumping" porn. She has no idea what the image "donuts" brings to the mind of the porn-savvy.

I wonder if Ann Coulter has bumped donuts with anyone recently? The blonde on The View, perhaps? I'd pay to see that.
