I don't belong in CT. Where should I go?

I was born and raised in CT and I have grown so bored of it. Everyone seems to live the same boring suburban life. Marriage, house, kids, extravagant first birthdays to post on instagram, hyper focused on money/things/possessions...

Looking for a change. Love nature and nature loving kinda people. Not a big city person but like to be close to a smaller city with good food, venues for music, etc. My brain is telling me I'd like the Oregon, Washington, Colorado atmosphere. Need to be near a body of water of some-kind.

Hiya silky. I can only speak to what I know....but come across the border. The most freshwater of any country in the world and you are never more than a half hour away from nature. Again...I speak to only what I know

I had the same feelings years ago and moved from the east coast to California. Best move ever.

Try Asheville. Good food and great beer. Outdoor action is fucking stellar. Small town feel in ways but hell a lot of good rocknroll bands come thru. And drugs are pretty easy to score there.

I think that if you'd come to Italy, you would not be disappointed .
I guess that here is great (of course if you do not pay much attention to politics and politicians :caning and you can surely find pretty much whatever nice you could imagine and so: great food, incredible and wild mountains, nice sea and a lot of historical places... and this just as a start and without mentioning anything about us Italian guys LOL

Asheville is great.... Winston Salem...... Chapel Hill.... NC in general is a very beautiful state. West Virginia as well.....

It's a couple hours from NYC or CT.

Filled with beautiful nature and landscapes, and an amalgam of art and culture.

Location location location. Even in the states mentioned, you go 20 minutes one way or another and you find the exact opposite. My suggestion...find a college town.
