I was out doing some errands this morning in the car. This idiot blows up beside me on the right then cuts into my lane close enough that if I hadn't hit the brakes I would have rear ended him. Then to make it even more fun the little weasel slows down until he's going 10-15 MPH under the speed limit. I'm starting to get a bit irritated and the people behind me are getting pissed.

Finally the road goes into a double barrel and he slips to the right. I hit the gas and go to pass him when he speeds up again, but not before I could see he was flapping his lips with someone on his Cell. Looking ahead I see the light change and slow down for it. He sees it at the last minute and locks his brakes. Amazingly he's still yakking on the phone. When the light changes he's off and running again. I don't bother with doing what I would truly like to do, which is to walk over to him at the next light, reach through his window and toss his phone into oncoming traffic. Instead I just hit one button on my phone and when my call is answered I inform the local P.D. about a possible Drunk Driver. I give them a description of the car as well as the tag number and direction of travel.

About two minutes later another car cuts in front of me, this time though they used their signals. They cruised along for another minute before hitting their lights. The car ahead of me was an unmarked.

So maybe the guy wasn't drunk, or maybe he was. I don't know. All I know is he was a hazard to everyone else on the roads.

Honestly can't say I blame ya.

Had one night I was going to work...this guy in front of me is slowing down at an interesection way ahead of time...then his car drifts into the curb. I stop...turn on the emergencies...and wave people around. After they left I got out...strolled over to make sure he was ok [feared heart attack or so] only to have him open the door, puke, and me [6' away] just smelled the alcohol. So I went back to my car...called the police...reported him. Then...he up and drives off...so, still on the phone...I start driving towards work...only to realize he was coming straight for me! I turned the car so hard, the tires smoked...the dispatched freaked out...asking me if I was ok...what happened and I told her he almost head on collided with me. 15 seconds later...the dark night went to red and blue as three cars came flying down the road.

so you were driving while on your cell?

Best road incident I ever saw:

I25 in Las Cruces, NM in the early 90's. One particular semi-truck driver was headed South 3 days a week around 8AM. He always stayed in the right lane but tailgated anyone he ran up on and I mean less than 3 feet. Very annoying and somewhat intimidating at 65+ MPH. One morning I was passing a pickup owned by a friend that had this jerk on his rear bumper in early September. Another friend was in the bed of the truck and waved for me to watch. He lifted his shotgun and blew the radiator out of the semi! Never saw that truck again.
No police report ever made that I heard of. :)

Don't tailgate a truck full of rednecks during dove season! :D
